Happy December to all my lovely subscribers, I hope the month treats you well. Sagittarius season is in full swing, it’s mercury retrograde, the holidays are upon us, it’s a hectic time. Personally I usually want to kill myself in December. I’m not going to, I just hate December. It’s an incredibly stressful month and I always feel like I should feel happier during the holidays, and I just never do. This year I’m setting the goal of not placing any expectations on my mood or ability to do anything, so if things go even just a little bit well, that’s something.

I haven’t talked much about what I’ve been reading, what audiobooks I’ve got going, or what podcasts I’m listening to in quite a while, so I figured it’s high time I do that. Enjoy!

Listening: Hyperfixed

My friend Alex launched his new podcast, Hyperfixed, which has three free episodes released so far. If you liked his old podcast, Reply All, you will love Hyperfixed. In it, Alex tries to get to the bottom of people’s problems, be it understanding why some of the refrigerators at the grocery store don’t have doors, or just how much a cup of butter weighs in grams when there are conflicting answers on the internet. It’s like the super tech support segment of Reply All, but for all issues, not just tech issues.

Alex is an incredible host, storyteller, and problem-solver, so obviously his podcast slaps. I highly recommend subscribing and listening to it, because you will be faced with questions you maybe have never considered before, and learn the ins and outs of the problem at hand. I was amazed by what I learned from the Supermarket Cold Case episode. Go listen to it after you read this newsletter.
